Cozy Winter Days and a Few Things We Love
We had such a wonderful holiday season this year, and spent so much time with our family and friends. We had so much fun that we were completely exhausted by the end of the year. Now that we are in the first week of January, we are slowing down and enjoying staying home, watching movies, reading new books, and cooking as a family – which is out of character for me. Typically, I rarely cook at home but for some reason, I have really enjoyed it the past few weeks. I linked to my new favorite pasta recipe below, along with some other things we are loving this month.
No. 1 I made this fettuccine recipe a few nights ago and the girls actually loved it! It was so easy that I am going to start making it all of the time. {A Spicy Perspective}
No. 2 My secret santa gave me a copy of Crazy Rich Asians for Christmas, and I am so excited to dive into it. {Amazon}
No. 3 Our wedding anniversary is this month, and I would love to try this restaurant to celebrate. {Primrose}
No. 4 The girls and I watched Dumplin’ on Netflix over the weekend. The entire soundtrack is made up of Dolly Parton songs – love!
No. 5 I bought this cute little book for Ava for Christmas and we have loved reading it over and over. {Lola Dutch}
No. 6 I am loving the mule trend this season. They are so cute and comfortable for running around with the kids. I have these in my Zara shopping cart right now. {Zara}
No. 7 We visited the Renwick Gallery recently to see No Spectators: The Art of Burning Man. It closes later this month so be sure to go see it if you are interested.
No. 8 How cute is this little puffer coat for girls? We are getting ready for snow here! {J. Crew}
No. 9 I would really like to go see The Favourite, but have heard mixed reviews. Has anyone seen it?
No. 10 I recently started following Sara Shakeel in Instagram , and then stumbled across this article about her amazing artwork. {This is Glamorous}
